This holiday, we wanted to create something small, joyful, giftable — and tingly.
Something that feels like an experience you can give, not just a snack.
Introducing the 50Hertz Tingly Gift Box
Inside this new holiday gift box is everything we love about Sichuan pepper: the citrus, the sparkle, the gentle electric numbing tingle that makes flavors feel alive.
We wanted to bundle our favorite tingles — the best of 50Hertz — into one joyful, giftable box. When you open it, we want you to feel that first little spark of Sichuan mágic.

And because it’s built around discovery and sensation, it makes an especially good gift for the people in your life who live for flavor!
It’s perfect for the adventurous cook experimenting with new ideas, the well-traveled coworker who brings back spices from every trip, the cultured host who loves surprising guests, the Gen Z nephew ahead of every snack trend — and especially the sinologist uncle who can explain má vs. là better than anyone.
If they appreciate boldness, stories, or surprises, this box will light them up.

5 Sichuan-Pepper Holiday Recipes You Can Make With This Gift Box
To make this gift box even more functional — and to show just how fun and versatile Sichuan pepper can be — we’ve also put together five cozy, festive holiday recipes you can make with the ingredients inside this gift box.
Whether you’re gifting the box or opening it for yourself, these are fun and bold ways to get started!
1. Tingly Five-Spice Pomegranate Mulled Wine

A warm, citrusy mulled wine infused with Sichuan pepper’s natural tingle — bright, aromatic, and perfect for cold winter nights.
This is our tingly twist on a winter classic — warm red wine simmered with citrus, pomegranate, and whole spices, brightened with real Sichuan pepper for a gentle and warming electric finish. It’s cozy, festive, and comes together in under an hour.

2. Cold-Dressed Leftover Turkey (Fuchsia Dunlop–Inspired)
An inspired way to revive your leftover Thanksgiving turkey — bright, citrusy, and deeply savory.
Adapted from Fuchsia Dunlop’s “Cold-Dressed Chicken” in The Food of Sichuan, this version takes the classic liangban (cold-dressed) method and gives it a tingly, holiday-friendly twist.
Instead of reheating dry turkey, you slice or shred it and toss it in a punchy, aromatic dressing built on soy sauce, vinegar, chile oil, sesame, and a hit of real Sichuan pepper.
The result? A dish that’s cool, refreshing, spicy, citrusy, and electric, waking up leftover turkey in minutes. It’s the opposite of heavy Thanksgiving flavors — clean, bright, and perfect straight from the fridge.
Our adaptation leans into these 50Hertz staples:
-
Tingly Peanuts or Tingly Cashews for crunch
-
Sichuan Pepper Oil or whole peppers for vibrating tingles
It comes together in about 15 minutes and feels like the perfect “reset” meal after days of gravy, stuffing, and starch.

3. Tingly Adobo Chocolate Chip Cookies

There are holiday cookies you expect — gingerbread, snickerdoodles, peppermint bark — and then there are the ones that make people stop mid-bite and say, “Wait… what is IN this?”
These Tingly Adobo Chocolate Chip Cookies live in that second category.
Inspired by the sweet–salty–tangy balance of Filipino adobo, this cookie layers familiar comfort with surprising depth. Brown butter brings nutty warmth. Soy sauce folds into the sugars for a natural caramel note. A splash of black vinegar brightens everything.
And then comes the sparkle: a citrusy, electric tingle from 50Hertz Sichuan pepper that wakes up the chocolate and lingers like a tiny holiday firework.
They smell incredible as they bake — like brown sugar, toasted spices, and something festive you can’t quite place. And fresh out of the oven, they’re cozy, aromatic, gently spicy, and absolutely addictive.
4. Tingly Sichuan Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry sauce is a holiday staple, but this version brings it to life.
By adding Sichuan pepper, the familiar sweet-tart sauce becomes brighter, livelier, and far more addictive.
It works with everything on the Christmas table: turkey, stuffing, ham, roasted veggies, and especially next-day leftovers.
Best of all, it takes only minutes to make.
Ingredients
-
~250 g cranberry sauce, store-bought or homemade (choose one with some tartness)
-
1 tbsp 50Hertz Tingly Green Sichuan peppers (green Sichuan pepper’s bright, citrusy aroma lifts the tart cranberries)
-
1 tbsp chili flakes (or 1–2 fresh red chiles)
Instructions
-
Grind: Blitz Sichuan pepper until fine; add chili flakes and pulse again.
-
Mix: Stir the spice blend into the cranberry sauce.
-
Rest: Let sit for a few hours so the flavors bloom.
How to Use It
-
Spoon onto roast turkey, ham, or chicken
-
Serve with stuffing and roasted vegetables
-
Add to leftover sandwiches
-
Pair with cheeses (especially brie or goat cheese)
-
Use as a dipping sauce for holiday appetizers

5. Tingly Holiday Cheese Board with Sichuan Pepper Peanuts

Cheese boards are the unsung heroes of the holidays — over-the-top, beautiful to look at, and perfect for grazing while the oven is busy or guests are arriving. They require zero cooking and instantly make a gathering feel warm and abundant.
This version is all about flexibility: pick your favorite cheeses, cured meats, crackers, olives, dips, and veggies — whatever feels festive to you — then bring the whole thing to life with the citrusy buzz of our Tingly Sichuan Pepper Peanuts.
And if you want to make your board even more special, our newly launched Tingly Cashews (sold separately) add a buttery, sweet-savory crunch that fits right in with all these holiday flavors.
The result is a board that’s sparkling, seasonal, and full of textures: soft cheese, crisp crackers, juicy vegetables, salty charcuterie, and that bright electric crunch of Sichuan pepper.
It’s the perfect grazing dish for Christmas Eve, holiday cocktail hours, movie nights, or any moment when you want something beautiful but effortless.
How it uses the gift box:
• Tingly Sichuan Pepper Peanuts
• Optional drizzle of Green or Red Sichuan Pepper Oil
• Optional dusting of whole green Sichuan pepper (crushed)
