I took a chance on chocolate with sichuan peppercorns and boy did it pay off! It's hard to quantify why they works so well together but they just...do! The chocolate itself is very high quality, the sweet, salt, and tingle are all perfectly calibrated. Get yourself some!

I have been enjoying Fuscia Dunlop's journey into the rich stories of Chinese food which I nibble on my tingly cashews and peanuts, perfect companions. I am far from adept in the kitchen. This book is as interesting for a non chef and one who knows the kitchen well.
