I have long been a fan of Sichuan food. I love the spice and I love the numbness and tingle that results from Sichuan peppers. However, I had never heard of 50 Hertz Tingly foods until about 6 weeks ago at a wine festival in Richmond, Virginia. I bought one can of the peanuts and a set of the oils on site and absolutely loved them. I had to purchase another set of peanuts, in addition, to the peppers themselves. I took the ones left from my first can of peanuts and added it to some lo mein with a bit of the oil. It was sooooo good. I plan to continue finding ways to incorporate the tingle in my meals! Very satisfied customer x2
We bought two cans of peanuts after reading about them in Food & Wine magazine and immediately re-ordered (plus other items, too). Absolutely delicious and addictive!
I can get behind unique flavors but this was too much. These might be perfect for a gag gift store. The sensation lasts for minutes and the flavor is unpleasant.
